Niaouli essential oil is extracted from Melaleuca viridiflora and Melaleuca quinquenervia, which belongs to the family of Myrtaceae. It has significant antiseptic and stimulating effects, and is widely used to treat infections and other diseases, such as bronchitis, mucositis, sinusitis, as well as acne, boils, burns, ulcers and cuts.
Niaouli is a large evergreen tree that is native to Australia. It has shrub-like long leaves and white-yellow flowers. Most of the essential oils are produced and provided in Australia at the present time.
Many people obscure Naiouli and Cajuput. In fact, these two plants are very different. The composition, smell, efficacy and curative effect of their essential oils are irreplaceable. It is important to distinguish between Cajuput and Niaouli, because the former will irritate the skin, while the latter will not irritate the skin and mucous membranes as long as it is properly diluted with safety.
Keep out of reach of children.
Avoid any contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women and children under 6.
Diffusion of Niaouli essential oil should only be done in composition with balsamic EO (pine, cypress, myrtle, etc.).
Keep away from heat and light.
